By accessing or using Haven ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Haven is a household management application that provides tools for chore management, expense tracking, meal planning, calendar coordination, communication, and related features. The Service is available as a mobile application and may include web-based components.

3. Account Registration

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.

4. Household Membership

When you join or create a household, you agree that information you share within that household (chores, expenses, calendar events, messages) will be visible to other household members. You are responsible for the content you share within your household.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
• Upload malicious code or interfere with the Service's operation
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Haven offers both free and premium subscription plans. Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the app store. Refunds are handled in accordance with the applicable app store's refund policy.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, and content, is owned by Haven and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content you create within the Service but grant us a license to use it as necessary to provide the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Haven and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. AI-powered features (such as chore distribution suggestions) are provided as recommendations and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for household decisions.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
